demitriustown (589), Macomb, Michigan, USA Mar 27, 2008 12 oz bottle: Three words to describe Great Lakes Brewing "Consistently good beers" not all of them knock it out of the park, but a lot of them are damn good. Pours a clear amber color with a small sized carbonated tan head that lingers. Aroma is caramel, roasty notes, almost a grainy fresh sweet corn note (not the corn note for Bud and other) candy, and sweet. Taste is really nice rich caramel notes, nice lightly burnt notes, malt characteristic is very present. Palate is nicely carbonated, somewhat sweet on the lips, and tongue coating. Overall, This is darn good Vienna, Nice stuff.

Malty biscuit aroma, slightly sweet honey. Sweet honey biscuit flavor with a touch of hops. Honey mostly gives way to more biscuit after a few sips. This is a good, flavorful lager.
