May 16, 2008 Bottle pours a clear golden color until you get to the yeast at the bottom of the bottle and chunks of yeast transform the brew from clear to cloudy. Has a yeasty aroma with some spice. Has a light mouthfeel. Taste is crisp and has a smooth character. This is exactly what I expect for the style. Overall it doesn’t have a lot of complexity I have had in other brews for the style.

May 13, 2008 Witbeir is generally not one of my favorites but I really enjoyed this one. Poured a hazy yellow. Medium body with a grainy fruity taste. A really nice beer.

May 10, 2008 Bottle form Canals. Typical cloudy pour you would expect from a Witbier. Mild aromas of bread, spice and citrus. A banana, yeasty finish. It’s easy to drink but nothing that blows you away.

May 7, 2008 Sample at West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago, Great Lakes Tasting. Hazy yellow/golden color with medium white, foamy head. Aroma is all citrus and spice with sweet malt. Flavor is very much along the same lines with some grain and banana as well. Light to medium bodied with a okay carbonated fizz. Pretty in-style but at the same time still lacking something that I can’t quite put my finger on.

May 6, 2008 Pours a cloudy gold with a nice white head. Nice aroma, mainly citrus and coriander. Flavor has a little more coriander then the normal Belgian Whites. Decent beer, but nothing amazing (not my favorite style either).

Apr 26, 2008 A pretty decent wit bier. Nice and fruity with a decent bouquet. a little citrus and some banana. cloudy and pretty. Very nice.

Apr 24, 2008 Bottle... Very cloudy yellow ale with a small, wispy, white head. Decent retention. The grainy, breadsy aroma reveals esters of banana, lemon and lime interwoven with mild coriander and smoke phenols. Light-bodied and a touch creamy with fizzy carbonation. Actually leans on the bitter side of balance, despite a good bit of sweetness from the unmalted wheat and pale malt(s). Crisp, grainy, moderately sweet finish. Thanks a ton to StFun for the brew!
