| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2007 bottle. darker orange than your average witbier. foamy white head, some lacing. aroma is citrus, yeast and grass. tastes of hay, light yeast, very light corriander and a substantial bitter for the style. imo, the bitter, while not disagreeable, pushes out some of the more subtle fruit and spice elements. not a bad beer, but not a exceptional version of the style. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2007 It doesn’t seem that wits are that highly rated or regarded at times on this site, but I just love them. This one pours hazy yellow with a large white head. The aroma has lots of orange citrus that is smooth and sour, bits of spice and a drier taste to the wheat than normal. Medium / light body with a bunch of graininess and fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts off with lots of coriander, bitter orange and a pleasing sourness. The finish is very spicy (coriander, not pepper) and a lingering dull sourness. A well crafted wit. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
