Sep 17, 2007 bottle. darker orange than your average witbier. foamy white head, some lacing. aroma is citrus, yeast and grass. tastes of hay, light yeast, very light corriander and a substantial bitter for the style. imo, the bitter, while not disagreeable, pushes out some of the more subtle fruit and spice elements. not a bad beer, but not a exceptional version of the style.

Sep 11, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy light golden color with a medium size white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, and a hint of hops. Crisp taste of citrus, wheat and slightly malty. Has a lemony dry finiish.

Sep 5, 2007 Shared with Kinz for an impromptu tasting. Slightly hazy golden orange body with a small off-white head. Huge coriander spice aroma. Sweet coriander, light wheat, light lemon peel and a touch of banana flavor.

Sep 2, 2007 Thanks to Secret Santa crizay for this one! Medium gold, light haze. Lots of coriander in the nose, bit of grain. Flavor matches. Not a lot of citrus, mostly coriander. Decent.

Sep 2, 2007 It doesn’t seem that wits are that highly rated or regarded at times on this site, but I just love them. This one pours hazy yellow with a large white head. The aroma has lots of orange citrus that is smooth and sour, bits of spice and a drier taste to the wheat than normal. Medium / light body with a bunch of graininess and fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts off with lots of coriander, bitter orange and a pleasing sourness. The finish is very spicy (coriander, not pepper) and a lingering dull sourness. A well crafted wit.
