Aromas of orange, herbs, yeast, chamomile, clove, ginger and coriander. Tastes of tea, chamomile, black pepper, grapes, burgundy wine, bread and yeast. Slightly hoppy, more fruity but not overly sweet. The lack of malt makes this a must try and I found it a refreshing summer brew. Only witbier I’ve tried but its a nice style unless you hate spice or can’t do without a big malt taste. brentfeesh (1037), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2005 Bottle. Drink by 8/05. Pours with a small fluffy white head. Hazy onion skin yellow. Moderate carbonation. I would describe the aroma as a girly spicy ale. It’s got a bit of citrus, very summery. Smells thirst quenching. It’s truly refreshing white ale. You can taste some spice (chamomile seems likely enough). There are some light citrus, which I assume to be attributed to hops. The body was soft and let the flavors delicately linger. It was great after mowing my lawn! jtw (942), farmington, Michigan, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2005 Honey-gold appearance with lots of little bubbles clinging to exterior of glass. The aroma is sweet, with notes of caramel, vanilla, candy, earth, bread and citrus. The mouthfeel is medium and creamy, with a strong malt complex that is really grainy and organic tasting. Good stuff. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 3, 2005 Pours a hazy golden color, small white head. Plain though still very visually appealing. Aroma is of fresh lemon and oranges, other fruits and spices as well. Flavor starts off sweet and malty, and then the tart fruit spice kicks in. Very nice brew. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2005 Alright, I really dig this beer. I ’m getting over my fright of wheat beers this summer and this is freaking great. It tastes like every wheat beer you’ve had but it’s got a damn strong malt body that carries you through it all that makes it awesome frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
