Coriander dominates the aroma, backed by yeast and light biscuity malt. A lot of spice in the flavor, alongside some lemon zest. Decent, but kind of boring. aobecksy (661), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA

UPDATE: I just came back from drinking 5 buds and then opened a great lakes holy and thought it was the best thing I had ever had---given the context. AskForJenny (660), Ontario, New York, USA

White head lasts and gives nice lacing. Yeast and spice on nose. Lightly citrus on front, malt in middle with a sweet finish. The finish is distracting. madmitch76 (659), , Essex, England

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Updated: Mar 9, 2009Aroma isn’t that strong, but has a nice yeasty funk with lemon zest and grassy hops around the edges. Pale straw-yellow pour, curtains of sediment falling while a big white head blooms and fades to leave abundant lace. Flavor is also yeasty, other components are there, but well harmonized with the yeast, raw sugar, gumball, apple cider. A little peppery warmth on the palate, but otherwise thin, but still a really nice wit.
