Hazy light hay yellow. Perfumy orange and citrus. Plentiful corriander spice, floral, and orange peel. I like the added strength of corriander and a bit of zesty tartness. The wheat lingers dry on the palate. Could use more balance.

bottle. darker orange than your average witbier. foamy white head, some lacing. aroma is citrus, yeast and grass. tastes of hay, light yeast, very light corriander and a substantial bitter for the style. imo, the bitter, while not disagreeable, pushes out some of the more subtle fruit and spice elements. not a bad beer, but not a exceptional version of the style.

Presentation: Poured from a 12oz bottle into an octagonal pint glass. It pours with a thin foamy white head that fades to thin covering of bubbles and leaves behined little to no lace. The body is cloudy with a cool pale yellow straw color. Its aroma has an aromatic Belgian style yeast with a lemon and orange citrus scent. Also there some leafy hop notes and a heavy dose of spice. The flavor has a spicy character. There is smooth coriander and yeast with a mild peppery kick back full of mild leafy and herbal hops and chamomile flavors. Some mild citrus notes mingle in and out nicely. The finish is mildly herbal and bitter as it fades out on a slightly dry note. Its palate is smooth and creamy with a medium body and playful carbonation that tingles on the tongue. This is one of the more complex witbiers that I have tried so far. It also had a nice calming effect on me that after a long day of work. (It must have been the chamomile.) Well done, I will need to get some more of this ale.

what a surprise. i met my dad for dinner and the bartender recommended this to him (he’s not a big beer drinker) he said he liked it so i thought it was going to be terrible, but it was actually quite good. a little on the light side but thats not really a bad thing if you know its going to be that way. caught me off guard but a good change.

Purchased at Antones Beer and Wine in Covington/Independence, KY just on a hunch, a good thing too, this is a great beer. Perfect for a day of boating on the river. fruity notes, breads, great one after the other, not a strong alcohol content. smells spicy. average palate. light, and creamy with a great, long finish. Very highly recommended for someone with a taste for sweetness

Bottle. Straw-colored and cloduy with some visible floaties. Pretty spicy flavor, and not too sweet by the standards of the style. Body is light and well-fizzed, giving a crisp zing to the beer.

Poured hazey yellow. 1-inch thick white creamy head. Aroma citrusy and quite spicy. Flavor spicy from the coriander, mildly fruity orange notes in the back. As it warmed the spicier it got. I actually couldn’t finish it. Big wheat backbone. It reminded me of Hoegaarden.

Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow color with a pretty good, white head. Spicy, citrusy aroma. Crisp flavor of spice and citrus with a bit of yeast character. Pretty good mouthfeels makes this an easy drinking beer. Although not my favorite style, I found this to be a very drinkable and enjoyable beer.
