This was a very solid Witbier. Had a pretty good citrusy hop flavor and aroma. I don’t think I have ever had chamomile in a beer before, but it definitely worked for the better.

Sample at GABF 2009. Pours a generally clear yellow color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of banana, clove, light spice, honey, light fruit. Flavor is about the same. Light to medium body with a pleasing wheaty finish.

12th April 2008 Cloudy ornange beer brewed with spices and chamomile. Crisp and dry with complex floral notes. Gentle spice and subtle fruit. Slightly bitter note in the finish. Different. Nice.

On tap at GABF 2009. Hazy yellowish-golden color with a small foamy white head. Aroma is nice and to style with wheat, yeast, orange, and spices. Flavor is wheaty and yeasty with orange, coriander, and floral notes. Body is medium and the carbonation is fairly lively. Good stuff.

Sample at the brewpub on 8/21/09. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of oranges, coriander and clove. Doesn’t have the banana aroma I remember from when they used to bottle it. Orange peel flavor with Belgian yeast and coriander. A bit thin, but otherwise much better than I remember.

12oz bottle into a wheat glass. The flavors are there, and good, but the beer is just a bit too weak.

Pours gold and hazy with a white head. Smells of coriander, sweet wheat, some floral hints. Tastes of ginger, coriander, floral notes, citrussy, full bodied.

12 oz. bottle. Pours golden in color with a fluffy white head. The aroma is wheat, spicy, floral, and herbal. The flavor is wheat cereal with splashes of citrus, corriander, and herbal leafy hops. Medium bodied and an interesting example of the style.

Enjoyed via 12 oz bottle in a pub glass. Pours a hazy light yellow, with a cloud-white head. Aromas of spices (coriander and citrusy orange) come through in the nose, but not nearly to the extent of examples such as Hoegaarden. It is relatively simple and straightforward on the palate - malt up front, with hints of the aforementioned aromas as flavors on the back end. Overall, a solid, if simple, example of the style.
