3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from Princeton’s. Bright yellow pour with a foamy white head. The usual wit aroma with spices and a nice orange peel note to it. Spicing in the flavor is a lot more subdued and I think I like it. Some slight citrus and even some hops come through. Finish is a bit dry and a bit hoppy.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass and a mug. The head in the mug was at least a good finger and a half more than what was in the pint glass. Other than that, here’s the rest.
The appearance was a fairly decent light hazy golden yellow color. The head faded at a nice pace and allowed a decent speckled sort of lacing gracing the sides of both glasses.
The smell had a yeasty/slightly bready aroma rolling over top of some light lemon and banana.
The taste starts off bready but leads to a fairly decent lighter citrus lemon flavor. The aftertaste was about the same and lead to a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light and yet still had a good carbonation for a witbier - harsh but not overly done.
Overall, I say this was a fairly easy drinking beer - good for a witbier and more than definitely to have in the Summers.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Transfer from BA review from 6-23-12-
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance –Poured a lightly hazy golden color with a one finger white head. The head faded slowly over time to give a very nice level of lacing.
Smell - The smell was of a yeasty and light biscuit aroma. Mixed with this were some hints of lemon and banana giving a more classic wit aroma.
Taste – The taste begins bready with a lighter citrus lemon flavor. As the taste advances a nice yeasty taste mixes with the bready and lemon flavor. Some orange then begins to enter the tongue and balances out the slight bitter of the lemon. In the end a citrus and yeasty flavor is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather average with the carbonation level slightly above average. For the citrus flavors the carbonation level is great and the body makes for it to be an easier drinking brew. Quite nice.
Overall – A good easy drinking brew and one to go for if you have the chance.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It pours with a thin foamy white head that fades to thin covering of bubbles and leaves behined little to no lace. The body is cloudy with a cool pale yellow straw color. Its aroma has an aromatic Belgian style yeast with a lemon and orange citrus scent. Also there some leafy hop notes and a heavy dose of spice. The flavor has a spicy character. There is smooth coriander and yeast with a mild peppery kick back full of mild leafy and herbal hops and chamomile flavors. Some mild citrus notes mingle in and out nicely. The finish is mildly herbal and bitter as it fades out on a slightly dry note. Its palate is smooth and creamy with a medium body and playful carbonation that tingles on the tongue.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast. Taste is fruity/yeasty with light spiciness, well balanced, as is all of Great Lakes that I’ve tried. Medium body, dry finish.

Notes from May 2011: Pale yellow-gold, cluody, fluffy white head. Smells like bread, funky yeast and some cloves, a hint of sulfur. Mouth is bready, biscuity, clove and hint of banana, lemongrass, smooth. Very nice Wit.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2012
Location: Bottle shared by jcos, 10/19/12
Aroma: The nose of this one is lemon, wheat, and plenty of spice/clove
Appearance: It pours a cloudy yellow-white color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, it has a good spice balance, and some light hop
Palate: The feel is clean, it has a light-medium body, and spicy tingle to the finish
I think this is a really nice one. Very quality example of the style. Quite drinkable, and a good (almost) session beer for sure.
