November 2, 2012 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel - bomber c/o J&K. Hazy deep orange with creamy decent lasting off-white head. Aroma is "real" pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices, a little lemon tart too. Taste is really malty, quite a lot of tartness, spices and pumpkin-ness further in the background than the aroma - definitely some alcohol. Thick, acidic, very strongly carbonated, almost fizzy in the finish, emerging alcohol heat, light dry spicy/acidic aftertaste.

Cloudy yellow gold. Medium pumpkin/squash nose qith a hint of nutmeg. Medium-bodied palate has flavors of pumpkin, squash, nutmeg amd vanilla. Good, but the flavir thins out a little on ghe back palate and finishes weakee than i would like.

Bottle [650ml] shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Nov. 2. Pours a deep orange-amber with a small semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is quite pumpkin-ey and vegetal, in a good way, along with light spices and some light lactic notes. Flavour of pumpkin, light spices, caramel malt and some alcohol. Medium bodied. Very good, enjoyable.

2012-11-02. Hazy bright orange body, like REALLY orange, small beige head. 3++ Flavour has a lovely sweet malty base, quite a bit of pumpkin flavour, sweet pie or graham cracker like quality to it, nice pumpkin pie spices. Nutmeg and cinnamon? 7+ Pumpkiny aroma, modest spice, light alcohol. Smooth medium bodied palate. Alcohol grows a bit more prominent as it warms up. This got lost in the back of my beer cupboard for longer than I would have liked but shows very little evidence of that. Gets a bit boozier when it warms up than I would like but this is possibly the closest contender I have had to Southern Tier’s Pumpking. Very nice. I regret not getting more of it! Bottle purchased from the brewery January 2012

"...Yorkdale has been evacuated."
"...About time!"

Bottle from Project X. Medium orange coloured body, little head, lots of lace. Funky, spicy nose. Good drinkability of nutmeg, clove, brown sugar. Smooth mouthfeel. So much richer and satisfying than their regular pumpkin ale.
