Bottle. Glowing dark yellow with active carb. Aroma is heavy on the alcohol with malty syrup and pine. The taste adds vanilla and honey but I’m getting too much of the alcohol in a bad way. This is decent but I expected better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great brew. There must be some bananas somewhere in the batch. Great looking. Great tasting.

Vanilla, pine and citrus balance in the aroma. Nice caramel hues with a thin head on the pour. Aggressively hopped but amazingly drinkable. Very similar to the Evil Twin Molotov Cocktail without the alcohol blitz. Load up while available!

Pours a clear orange with nice head. Aroma was sweet with some citrus and pine mixed in. Taste was too sweet for me and not what I look for in a double IPA. I did get some grapefruit and pine in there as well, but the sweetness turned me off. Not terrible, just not my favorite.

On tap at Winking Lizard Bethel. Copper orange pour. Big foamy white head and spotty stick. Aroma citrus and caramel malt. Tastes more on the citrus side, with a little tea vibe. Creamy medium pale. Good. 7.4

(bottle) Pours a deep golden complexion with diminishing head. Hop aroma struggles to compete with malt. The flavor is predominantly resin hops and alcohol with some malt balance. Sort of a DIPA on the cheap.

Ok double IPA here. I expected better from the high reviews. Hoppy but not in the way that gets you in the back of your throat. The 9.1% alc is really evident and hides some of the flavors I love from a double.

Clear orange-colored body, medium to thin white head and spotty lacing. Boozy with some sweet pale malts, grapefruit, pineapple, and resin. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Lingering sweetness and assertive bitterness in the finish. A bit unwieldy.

[Tap] Clear and bright orange pour. Very little head and surprisingly low carbonation level. Heavy and bitter aroma of pine and citrus. Tasting notes include resin, sweet orange peel, booze and a residual sticky sweetness. Starts surprisingly malty before transitioning to a harsh bitterness. Syrupy consistency thanks to low carbonation. If the balance was tweaked a bit, this would be even better.

Nice amber/orange color; Medium body; Aroma of caramel malt, hops, & citrus; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel/toffee, pine hops, fruit, and citrus; Finish is fairly bitter with alcohol; Decent.
