Issue a small craft advisory: this South Bay Bessie-inspired brew unleashes a beastly hop attack amid torrid tropical flavors.

This beer is great! Hops out the wazoo, thatís what an ipa should be, and this definitely delivers! The issue arises afterward, where some ipas have a crisp finish, this has a syrupy lingering hop taste.... This is worth it. Buy it, try it, but make sure you have a glass of water handy. Because youíll need it...

Really good. A great thickish amber color. Tastes hoppy bit not bitter. My ideal looking beer. I want my flagship beer to look like this.

Appearance: clear yellow. Big white head. Aroma: urine. Yes, really, urine. Funny iíve drank several of these as this is the last of a six pack, but only now did i take a reAl whiff. Smells like piss. The hops and pine are way behind the abhorrent pee smell. Yuck. Taste: Ashy, dry. Not awful, amazingly. Feel: dry, if that could be said about a beer. Low carb. OVERALL: pretty bad.

Bottle from Oak Tree. Pours clear gold white head. Nose/taste of perfumy hops, lemon, caramel malt, bitter orange peel and dank grapefruit. Medium body. Touch of alcohol in finish.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color with small rocky white head. Sweet tropical fruit malt nose has notes of duck sauce and butterscotch. Flavor upfront is toasted malt with more butterscotch and notes of mango. Mid taste has notes of resiny hops and sweet alcohol. This is a big brew that drinks small, as DIPAís go!

Very light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and slightly viscous, semi dry with fine carbonation. Smooth malts precede alcohol dryness and spice. Little resinous pine and citrus. Mild hop spice. Light finish. Clunky but passable.

On tap at Whole Foods. Pours a clear golden color with active carbonation. White head leaves spotty lacing as it moves to the rim. Aroma is bright citrus, lemon and lime zest notes. Flavor is citrus hop bitterness, with a pleasant balanced sweetness in the finish. Active carbonation, medium bodied, sweet ale yeast finish.

Thx from Local trade with JBruner Appearance was clear orange gold with creamy off white diminishing 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are soft honey, orange marmalade, lemon, grapefruit, hints of alcohol. Taste are grapefruit, orange, tangerine, lemon, and soft pine, warming alcohol. Palate was soft smooth CO2 with medium body, then lasting balanced soft slick finish. A wonderful DIPA, need to try fresh though for better raring.
