Had a bunch of these while in the Midwest. Pours a light orange color with little to no head. Aroma of citrus fruits, grapefruit/orange/lemon. Flavor has hop bitterness in the front with some sweetness and orange/lemon in the back. Finish was semi sweet/semi bitter and well balanced.

Really solid interpretation of the style. Poured a golden caramel amber into the tulip glass, large white head that dissipates quickly and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma of juicy chewy hops and bready malts. Taste is similar. Nice

On tap. Pour is cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma and flavor are both of citrus, pine, mango, and apricot. Some hop bitterness in the finish, and the alcohol is masked well. Medium carbonation levels.

Outstanding aroma of hop, cinnamon, molasses, pine, grass, all sorts of notes here. Unfiltered IIPA. Appearance is a cloudy amber, good retention. The taste doesn’t distinguish itself enough from other IIPAs. Thin body for the style. Medium duration.

Bottle. Orange-copper color. Clear. Aroma is strong of both hops and malt. Really good. Taste is also very malty to start but finishes very hoppy. Some alcohol taster as well.

Draught @ Headkeeper: This one pours a clear golden color. There was about a finger of off-white head. Lots of lacing. The nose is good. Grapefruit, some pine, and malts. The taste is good. A bit of sweetness, and a fairly full body. Get a good bit of the caramel malts, as well as pine and citrus flavors. Pretty decent.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden amber with small white head and little lacing. Aroma is citrus hops. Alcohol is not well disguised. Definitely hoppy finish and overall not bad.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks DSG. Pours yellow to orange with medium head, aroma of marmalade, old hops, leaves, vegy roots, flavor is very sweet, malt, bitterness, dark bread, wood, medium to full bodied

Pours bright gold/orange with a small white head that leaves lacing. Smells of grapefruit, citrus and other tropical fruits. Up front your palate is assaulted with citrus and grapefruit flavors with a touch of caramel in the middle. Finishes a little bitter with a bit of a booze burn. Mouthfeel and carbonation are average for the style. Great Lakes delivers another good one. I love the loads of citrus. The alcohol is a bit too present in a brew with this ABV and limits drinkability, but otherwise very good.
