4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This monster pours a amber color with a finger sized head. Lacing is everywhere on this one. Not a section of my glass didnít have some kind of lacing on it.
The smell was pretty damn nice. Very sweet malt aroma which I wasnít expecting. Grapefruit and citrus. Alcohol is very present and it just says that Iím not a beer to mess around with.
This is a very malt forward Double IPA. I thought it was a good mixture of a East Coast and West Coast Double IPA. While the malt is pretty big in the taste, the hops come through big too. Itís a very fruit taste. Grapefruit, citrus, melon, and slight grassy. The only thing that might of gotten in the way slightly was the alcohol taste. While not overbearing, it was still a little to noticeable in my mind. If they somehow hid the alcohol just a little bit more this would be just killer.
The mouthfeel was thick, nicely carbonated, oily, and juicy. Itís so hoppy at times I felt the same way I did with Pliny the Younger. Felt like the enamel was coming off your teeth.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really solid interpretation of the style. Poured a golden caramel amber into the tulip glass, large white head that dissipates quickly and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma of juicy chewy hops and bready malts. Taste is similar. Nice

On tap. Pour is cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma and flavor are both of citrus, pine, mango, and apricot. Some hop bitterness in the finish, and the alcohol is masked well. Medium carbonation levels.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Outstanding aroma of hop, cinnamon, molasses, pine, grass, all sorts of notes here. Unfiltered IIPA. Appearance is a cloudy amber, good retention. The taste doesnít distinguish itself enough from other IIPAs. Thin body for the style. Medium duration.

Bottle. Orange-copper color. Clear. Aroma is strong of both hops and malt. Really good. Taste is also very malty to start but finishes very hoppy. Some alcohol taster as well.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught @ Headkeeper: This one pours a clear golden color. There was about a finger of off-white head. Lots of lacing. The nose is good. Grapefruit, some pine, and malts. The taste is good. A bit of sweetness, and a fairly full body. Get a good bit of the caramel malts, as well as pine and citrus flavors. Pretty decent.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours bright gold/orange with a small white head that leaves lacing.
Smells of grapefruit, citrus and other tropical fruits.
Up front your palate is assaulted with citrus and grapefruit flavors with a touch of caramel in the middle. Finishes a little bitter with a bit of a booze burn.
Mouthfeel and carbonation are average for the style.
Great Lakes delivers another good one. I love the loads of citrus. The alcohol is a bit too present in a brew with this ABV and limits drinkability, but otherwise very good.
