COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic German hefe-weizen served unfiltered to showcase the banana and clove notes of the yeast. A great summer thirst quencher.

Ok. Nothing special here. Very wheat taste that is notice bc of the unfiltered beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at GTMW - Pours hazy amber with no head. Aroma of light banana, bubble gum, and clove. Pretty classic, but neither as pungent or complex as the classics. Taste sadly isn’t as pronounced, it’s watery and not very bold. Very minerally, with muted taste of everything that’s on the nose. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated, but not a beer I’d pay for.

Sampled on draft at GTMW 2011. Pours a hazy copper color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat, clove and a fruity finish. The taste is wheat, bread and big clove notes. Medium bodied. Not as much banana as advertised but still pretty good.

Pours only somewhat cloudy from tap which is unusual for a Hefeweizen. Some Banana on the nose. nice banana and clove flavor on the tongue but the finish is all wrong. It should be a bit drier.

medium yellowish-brown with huge white head. hazy. mostly clove to the nose. mild bitterness before a very nice clove and banana yeast flavor with enough residual sweetness to give this a nice mouthfeel, which most other examples lack. very nice

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2007 Light yellow/light orange, very cloudy. Lemon mostly, with some banana and spice coming through. The wheat could’ve been more evident making it crisper, but still an easy drinking summer beer. Although 2 years ago my ratings had huge banana in them, maybe they missed their mark this time.

thick body; light orange/almost dark almond color. had less wheat tangy-ness than most wheats. crisp, dry finish.
