Brewed in the USA.... Courtesy of AFI96, thanks waylo. Pours a med amber color with a small white head. Aroma of strong hops, and malts. The taste is of spices, hops, and caramel. The finish is very dry and a bit dissapointing on tap. I want to try this in a bottle....... not sure if it will make any difference. Mad props for having a vampire on the bottle....... lol.

Interesting beer. High citrus notes dominate this red colored beer. Pours with a nice head that lasts quite a while. Very bitter to the taste with not enough malt balance in my opinion.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark ruby red with no head. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, syrupy, grapefruit. Looks and smells like a barley wine. Taste is sweet, bitter, hoppy, piney, earthy. This is a nicely balanced, hoppy beer that’s not too sweet thankfully.

Pours a nice copper color with a thin, dense, off-white head. Aroma has a very lively Marris Otter malt presence, a great hoppy nose - earthy, light pine with lots of heavy overall bitterness. Flavor has a heavy Marris Otter malt toasted flavor, a very heavy bitter hops bite, earthy hops with a mild chocolate malt note and some heavy toasted finishing malt notes. Modest density and a smooth texture for a beer this bitter. Overall a fantastic brew and one well worth the money.

Poured copper/golden with a thick white head. Good retention. Smell like citrus, graitfruit, caramel, courant and orange. Taste was the same. A little bitter at times but on the whole quite smooth. Good bready taste as it went down. Palate was hoppy with good sweetness. Another solid offering from this good brewery.

Bottle, a dark red ale with a small off-white head, this ale had the delayed foam, sweet fragrance, candy syrup (some whiffs reminded me of Red Pop!), medium hoppy nose, hop bite with malts on the palate, the hops took me by surprise, wasn’t expecting that at all, the hop bite was more then what was let on by the nose, medium malt taste, this strong ale was interesting and unlike any other strong ale, this is not as thick as some of the strongs I have had, naming this ale after a Vampire makes sense hint the hop bite surprise.

Campfire smoke, roasted caramel malt and red ale flavors are balanced by a well-intertwined backbone of hops that linger with the malt and assist the impressive structure.

12 oz bottle - have had this too many times to count but just realized that I have not yet rated it. Pours a deep copper/red color with smallish light tan head. Aroma has fair amount of slightly citrusy hops, light caramel, faint vanilla, orange peel. Flavor has fair amount of citrusy hops, orange peel, light caramel, faint toast, with a solidly bitter finish. Always a great fall brew.
