3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pitch black with creamy nitro head. Sweet aroma, primarily of oatmeal, roated malt and a little bit of chocolate with the slightest touch of hops. Rich, smooth, and creamy. Begins with a nice chocolate/ cocoa flavor, and fades to a slightly smokey finish. Just a little too sweet overall for me to drink often, but still very nice.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is good and black with a nice creamy tan head that leads me to believe that this is probably nitro dispensed. There’s a good roasty aroma. There’s a bit of cocoa in the flavor along with the roast. The body is just a tad too thin for my preferences.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewpub. Dark beer with a creamy mocha foam head and a nice dusty grain nose with a faint chocolate whiff. Great lacing on the glass. This is a very easy drining stout with a smooth palate. Roasted grain bight with bitter chocolate. Milky finish. Nice stout.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap: Opaque with small creamy head and very good lacing. The aroma has notes of sweet chocolate malts, oats, hazelnut, lactic sourness, floral and grassy hops. The taste starts with bittersweet dark malts and a orange twang. Nutty undertones leads to a good bitter and smoky finish. The mouthfeel is smooth, soft, and easy going. This is a solid draft only offering.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
10/18/03 - At the pub for my wife's birthday dinner. This time, they've got the ABV listed at 7.5%. Dark black, perfect tan head and thick sheets of lace. The first few sips remind me of chocolate milk - very smooth and very thick, despite being served on nitro. Tastes are sweet chocolate, lightly roasted coffee, fruity in the background, not very bitter at all. It's very rare for me to get excited over a stout, but liet me tell you, this one is well worth a visit. Even my wife drank most of a pint!(That's very rare indeed!)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown beer pours with a tan head that shows great retention. A nice lace is left on the glass. Oatmeal and sweet chocolate dominate the aroma. Taste is of roasted malt, nuts, and raisins. Some sweetness is evident with a well balanced bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is very smooth, and the drinkability is good.

Dark color with a creamy head. Watery body though and not as flavorful as i had hoped for. Some bitterness but not as roasted and malty as i prefer.
