Tap at Allen’s. Hazy golden-orange. Fairly spicy aorma, clove and allspice, some ginger over a rich pumpkiny character. Fairly sweet with a honeyish malt character. Earthy bitterness and a soft sweetness. Sweet fruity esters in addition to the spiciness. Nice pumpkin ale.

Growler courtesy of crizay. Thanks a lot Chris. It poured clear gold with white head. The aroma is pumpkin up front followed by mild nutmeg. Spot on aroma with real nice smelling pumpkin. The liquid enters a bit thin feebly ushering in pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon. The spices soon fade leaving a tasty pumpkin flavor nearly behind about by midway. The pumpkin shines through into the after taste with only faint spiciness. Nice sessionability.

Poured from a growler from Crizay. This was not one of my favorite pumpkin beers. It had a weird vegetable aroma to it.Once I got past that it was average at best.Flavors of pumpkin pie, allspice and cinnamon. The finish was slightly spicy like pumpkin pie.

Sampled from growler @ Throwdown 3, courtesy crizay. Clear orange color with a thin soapy white head. Very toasty pumpskinseed aroma, lots of malt, a hint of spices. Mild taste with the toastiness coming through first and some of the spice becoming more apparent in the finish. Mild, but drinkable and enjoyable.

Growler. White, drippy sheet lacing spurred from a mid-sized, creamy, very slowly receding head. The body is a clear pumpkin flesh amber. This is a great pumpkin ale, the first whiff confirms the desire. Moderate spice is executed with a warming base of real pumpkin flesh in the aroma. This is what I had hoped for, what I’ve waited for with so many lesser pumpkin beers. Mild toasty malt lurks underneath, light cinnamon and brown sugar with hints of vanilla and allspice compound the complexity. The flavor introduces much more toasted malt, mild warmth comes as swallows repeat. Sweetness is medium and there is no distracting astringency to be found. The palate is smooth, medium bodied, softly but adequately carbonated. The finish is smooth, toasty, pumpkin pie spices lingering, lightly bitter and slowly and modestly drying. Very drinkable. Excellent!

From growler, courtesy Crizay. Aroma is sweet pie spices, some vanilla and light brown sugar. Flavor is light and delicate, not as heavy handed as most pumpkin ales. Solid.
