mgumby10 (1844), Jupiter, Florida, USA Nov 18, 2007 Courtesy crizay. Pours a clear orange, with a medium white head. Smells of warm, toasty pumpkin spice, with still a good dose of just the pumpkin in it too. Seems well balanced so far. This is evident in the flavor as well. Good dose of spice and pumpkin blended together. Nothing really overpowers which is usually a downer for me in pumpkin beers. Balance is key here. Good amount of cinnamon shows up in th finish. Pretty good pumpkin brew. Edmoe (126), Orlando, Florida, USA Nov 18, 2007 Pours Ruby, clear, w/ good head and lacing. Head dissipates completely. Aroma is nice. Pumpkin aroma is kept more mellow than so many others of this kind. All Spice flavor is kept under control but pumpkin comes on a bit strong. Lingering bitterness is distracting. b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Nov 16, 2007 On tap at GLBC. Amber color with little off-white head and some lacing. Aroma and flavor dominantly pumpkin. Other spicy flavors, cinnamon and a caramelly malt are evident. Good overall and easy to drink. TallBrew (2), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada does not count Nov 7, 2007 Draft @ West 50
Again, a seasonal beer, with a wonderful pumpkin pie, nutmeggy taste. Darker colour and not too heavy of a finish. JAF737300 (791), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 30, 2007 Pours light orange with notes of nutmeg and light pumkin. The palate notes of shows the ale with larger hints of the actual pumpkin. crushinat0r (227), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 29, 2007 Light ale, orangy brown in colour. Smells of cinnamon, nutmeg. Tastes like a clean ale with subtle taste of again cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of that pumpkin "meat". It was quite nice and leaves a very nice aftertaste in the mouth. Perfect for the season. daniel0017 (232), Ontario, Canada Oct 23, 2007 650mL bottle: Clear amber body, hardly any lace or head. Fresh cut pumpkin to the nose. The allspice, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg become evident only in the flavor, at the surface, leaving a lasting aftertaste. Would be nice with dessert or a meal. Dry, refreshing finish. Not bad at all. yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Oct 22, 2007 650ml bottle, 5.5% a/v
Pours a deep gold colour with a bit of reddish tones. The nose is pumpkin, cloves, malth and cinammon. The taste is fantastic. Very spicy, cinammon and cloves being the predominant spice, with a nice mellow pumpkin pie aftertaste. Incredibly well done guys!
Cheers
