3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear, dark golden color with a finger and a half length head that leaves decent lacing. Strong citrus and pine aromas, with a bit of the rye slipping through. Taste is bitter all the way through. Not a big malt backbone on this one, but the rye makes up for this quite a bit. Good beer, an easy to drink one for hop heads.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle: Big hop nose upfront with a bit of the slippery rye note mixed in the scent. Appearance is a golden color with a thick white head that lingers. Taste is interesting with the citrus and pine notes of the hops then the twang of the rye mixed in is quite interesting. Palate has medium carbonation with an aftertaste of lingering hops and a bit of rye. Overall, Decent. Kind of straight forward but good. Cheers!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear amber with good head and great lacing. Aroma is citrusy hops and rye bread malts. Taste is spicy rye and bitter hops balanced nicely together. Earthy middle and a lingering rye malt finish. Palate is medium-bodied with good carbonation. Not bad at all!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very slightly cloudy light amber color. Average head and body. Hoppy aroma and flavor with added rye spiciness. Lacks the hop fruitiness of Hop Rod Rye.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft. Pours a light copper/tan with a thin but resiliant small bead, off white head. Aroma is caramel and spices. Taste is sweet caramel malt, some biscuit and a whole heap of hop bitterness. I’m thinking the hops are a bit overdone, but this is a robust, refreshing and well balanced IPA. Good job!

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle. Faint hop and rye aroma. Beautiful amber with fluffy white head. Floral and pine hops with the rye give a decently bitter hit. Caramel, nutmeg, spice notes. Well balanced. Nicely done.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Poured clear, medium golden with a short beige head. The aroma picked up juicy orange hoppage plus spicy pine and rye.. quite nice. The flavor found sweet caramel and a touch of molasses at the core, with the same spicy pine and peppery rye around.. finished quite peppery. Medium-bodied with nice carbonation.. good feel and flow.

Tap. Pours red tinted hazy orange with creamy off white head, more then average lacing. Aromas are light hops, malt, and some spicy rye. Taste is bitter hops, light sugar, lemons, rye, vanilla and more bitter grapefruit from the hop recipe. Medium body. Pretty solid.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Why are there so many beers with this cheesy name? Anyways, this explodes with grapefruit nose, then has a satisfying palate, rich, malty, plenty of hops, left me with quite a dry mouth.
