3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright apricot color with a huge foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was rye, pepper, pine and grapefruit. The flavor was spicy pepper, pine, grapefruit, lemon and had a light bready undertone. Long spicy pepper and pine finish. Medium body. Solid.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear amber body with a medium sized off white head. It has a really fresh, tangerine/clementine hop citrus aroma with additional notes of spicy rye, toasted bread and a hint of resin. The flavor is has a decent hop burst with citrus at the front, a touch of resin, toasted malt with some moderately sweet caramel and the welcome spicy rye finish. Medium plus body and quite smooth. Good balance, tasty and easy to get.
