COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spacewalker American Belgo is named for the surprising number of astronauts who have called Ohio home. Brewed with Belgian yeast and American hops, including the experimental ADHA 881 hop, Spacewalker is bold yet balanced with spicy, fruity flavors.

On tap at Pete’s Place. Pours a transparent amber gold color with a fluffy bubbly white head with a sticky wall lacing. A slight hoppy aroma that comes off in a Belgian style. A spiced hop taste is upfront with a very soft mouthfeel. Almost creamy. A really nice texture. The hop bitterness stays while a nice fruity feel washes over. You get a nice quality flavor from both worlds here and it is a well done blend. The hop kick stays on the tongue while the citrus leaves it’s mark on the lips in the end. Interesting stuff.

On draft at magnolias in purceville it is a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is malty and the taste is strong with bitter overtones and a hint of lemon resonates on the palate

From a 12oz into a Duvel tulip. Pours a nice hazy golden with thick white head. Funky spicy Belgian aroma. Mouthfeel is fairly light and crisp. Dry too. Taste is a good blend of hops and Belgian farmhouse saison. It's let a double ipa saison. Grapefruit pith bitterness lingers. That's the only downside. Hope this comes back next year. Really goo Belgian ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

an interesting belgian idea - yeasty and fruity notes, and some herbal spiciness lent from the yeast. a nicely done tripel (?) with some fun american influence.

Bottle from Breeze Thru. Pours a yellow golden, with a white head, leaving some spots of lace. Aroma has some biscuity malts and spicy belgian yeast. Taste is of sweet fruits, biscuity malts and tangy belgian yeast. Light to medium bodied - fuller bodied than expected. Finishes sweet and tangy. Shrug? Took a shot being a fan of Great Lakes. A touch malty for a straight belgian, but ok. 12.8

Appearance is a golden orange color with a creamy white head. Aroma is banana, cloves, and Belgian yeast. Taste follows the nose. Nice American-made Belgian.

A great beer that realizes you have to choose a side as a Belgo-IPA. It chooses to lean Belgian, which is probably the right call. The hops are there just to compliment the finish; which it does nicely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle from And Beer, Athens, 7/15/14. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of yeast, spice, candi sugar, white grape, citrus, stone fruits. The taste is bready malts, yeast, herbal hops, dry stone fruits. Medium bodied, lingering spice, mild lingering bitterness. Solid beer.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with fluffy white head. Nice aroma of belgian yeast and spices and some banana and tropical notes. Taste is well balanced with belgian spices, banana, bubblegum, sweet malt and some tropical hops flavors. Tastes like a belgian IPA. Pretty solid beer. Great summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
