Bottle @ home, via trade. Pours a touch hazy golden orange appearance with a cream colored head. Aroma has a ton of banana and apple with a little bit of spice - white pepper, light clove, and nutmeg. Flavor is full of cotton candy, bubble gum, and banana. Moderate high sweetness. Medium body. Fairly high carbonation. A little gooey and boozy. Not my thing.

Bottle. Cloudy dark gold with lots of floaties and a thick head.. Spiced Belgian yeast with floral and citrus notes, mainly orange. Kind of reminds me of blue moon on steroids. I really didn’t like this one at all and I wouldn’t get it again. I think they did a decent job with this brew but, it’s not my thing.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a quite hazy orange-golden color with a huge billowy white colored head. The head has a fantastic level of retention, slowly fading to leave a immense level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a bready and yeasty smell with some strong aromas of banana and spice of coriander and clove which come along with the yeast. Along with these aromas comes smells of a more toasted malt nature as well as a bit of grass and hay and a nice blend of decently fruity smells with notes of citrus and tropical fruits joining the banana aroma. Taste – The taste begins with a somewhat drier mix of bready and cracker malts with some sweeter flavors of a tropical and citrus fruit nature. The citrus is a bit heavier than the tropical fruits with the orange and tangerine outpacing the mango and pineapple. A grapefruit hop is also present right from the start complementing well the other citrus flavors of the brew. While lighter upfront, a yeasty taste becomes quite strong toward the middle of the taste, bringing with it some grassy hop and spice flavors of coriander and clove. A bit more tropical fruit and candied sugar sweetness come at the end of the taste and with a surge of the grapefruit, grassy, and herbal hop tastes of the brew leaving one with a still rather crisp, but moderately sweeter and decently hopped flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average to slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the crisp and fruity but still well hopped flavors of the brew, the feel was fantastic creating a nice refreshing and still quite robust base for the flavors of the brew. Overall – A rather tasty Belgian style IPA with a good crisp, but still somewhat fruity flavor. Not the best out there, but a nice try and rather enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Aroma is moderate floral, perfume and herbal hops, medium apple and pear esters with light cracker and honey malt. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, creamy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Flavor is moderate perfume and floral hops, rose and apple esters, light cracker malt, moderate hop bitterness, tart and funky yeast notes, balanced to the hops and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation, light alcohol warmth, no creaminess and light hop derived astringency.

Tap: Radiantly clear, golden body with a soapy white head sifting across the top. Nice aroma combination of moderately earthy hops, botanical & floral notes, sweet Bazooka Joe bubblegum, & a unique fruitiness underneath that reminds me of pomegranate or some other off-kilter type of berry. Lots of that sweet bubblegum flavor from the yeast comes through in the flavor, along with notes of banana salt-water taffy, clove, mint leaves, baked bread, clumpy yeast spice, & a middle-to-end bitterness reminiscent of rosewater. Medium bodied, bordering on heavy thanks to some added chewiness from the yeast. Really nice & different Belgian IPA.

Draft sample at Fifty Fest. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some sweet, moderate cereal malts, yeast, orange citrus, some candied fruit, decent enough but they do many others better.

Bottle pour. Pours a very cloudy light amber, with a lot of head. Nice, classic belgian flavor with good balance. Flavor profile isn’t particularly unique, but solid.

12oz bottle into tulip. Appearance: mostly clear and golden in color. Nice white head with lacing. Aroma: floral and piney hops, apple, alcohol, faint yeasty smell. Taste: bitter, dry. Palate: very dry texture. Full body. Overall: not what I was expecting. Would have preferred citrusy hops. A little unbalanced, though generally well made.

Ar: Pear, orange peel, fruit punch, hint of clove. A: Hazy orange - medium-small white head with moderate retention, leaves a ring of foam and a spotty pattern across the top. T: Orange, lemon, and pine - juicy and resiny - high bitterness, very clean - toasted malt, candied orange and lime - finish is bitterness, with pear and orange. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation - finish is dry. O: Tasty hybrid IPA-Belgian ale - lots of fruit flavor, both from the yeast and the hops.
