On Tap - hazed honey-gold with a small white cap. Sweet spicy fruity aroma. Big malt sweetness in front then there is a flood od spice-citrus notes, big fruity esters - relatively complex. Long boozy finish. Pretty decent rendition of a Belgian strong ale.

On tap at Bar Hop. Hazy golden pour with a one inch whipped egg white head that leaves a sheet of sticky lacing. Aroma is orange banana smoothy, a little yeast and grape kool aide and a sweet floral overtone. Beautiful velvet mouthfeel. Sweet and smooth, balanced with a slightly sour finish. Like blood orange juice itself. Refreshing. Delicious, buy if you’re not into sweet you won’t enjoy this as much. I love it.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 probstblueribbon (2378) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 1, 2013
On tap at the Loon. Very hazy golden, thin white rim. Quite sweet, yeasty, floral, a touch spicy light citrusy coriander, juicy orange. Medium body, gentle effervescence, smooth. Quite juicy and fruity, lots of citrus peel, yeast, a bit of booze, lightly spicy; lightly sweet with moderate bitterness and a fairly floral, citrus, boozy finish. Not too bad.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Lubiere (8243) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 1, 2013
A viscous hazed amber ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, a sweet fruity malt with orange peels, bananas, cloves, grassy notes, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a classic belgian ale with sweet fruity malt with coriander, curacao, loads of alcohol, banana & bubble gum.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 solidfunk (1790) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 4, 2012
Smells floral, a little bubblegum as well. The beer feels like its halfway between a saison and tripel. Its pretty decent though, pours cloudy blondwith good tracing. A little head with staying power. Taste finishes a bit bitter but light palate for tripel.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Spab (1639) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 22, 2012
On tap at the Only (at Great Lakes Tap Takeover for 2012 Toronto Beer Week). Pours a lightly hazy golden yellow with modest white head. Aroma has an interesting combination of sweet and slightly sour fruit with light floral notes. Taste has similar fruitiness with orange apparent, maybe some apple and gentle floral character. Medium-full body. Nice.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 neongolden (166) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2012
(Draught at Bryden’s, Toronto, June 2012) Poured a slightly orangish yellow, with faint haze and a thin white head. A pair of pink rose petals floating on top were an attractive touch. Aroma very fruity, definite orange notes mixing with yeasty esters, sweet pale malts, very light herbs and a distinct floral overtone. Taste fairly sweet malts and orange, floral with a light yeast character and just a little hop bitterness and alcohol on the finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, improved as it warmed and didn’t reveal much alcohol. I really enjoyed this beer, a subtle and tasty new take on a tripel that could get me in a lot of trouble on a hot summer’s day...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mabel (5043) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 26, 2012
[4522-20120617] Tap. Mild petrol notes in the aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange body with a quick foamy white head. Mild creamy yeast and sweetened corn starch flavour. Medium body. Good, drinkable, I liked the flower petal touch of colour. (7/3/7/4/14) 3.5

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sammy (7035) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2012
Belgian is the base, but that didn’t grab me by itself. Light coloured. Minty finish on a sweetish beer that was not complex. Drinkable not exceptionally. Yeast in aroma, above average mouthfeel. On tap at Bryden’s where he put a rose petal on top.
