Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body. Light floral fruity earthy aroma with perfumy malty notes. Dry-sweet perfumy grainy malty taste with earthy smoky notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish smoky oily cocos aftertaste with spicy earthy caramel notes. Lovely! Highly drinkable, yet unusual and full of flavour. (0.5l bottle, not sure where from, but somewhere in Whitby.)

500ml bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop - Great looking golden body, nice clarity, thick foamy white head which is lasting and lacing. Notes of malts and toffee, the taste is creamy toffee, sweet a bit sugary and fruity. A short finish, clean and sharp. Very nice, I quite like this one.

Bottle, from Williams Farm Kitchen, Hornsea. Gold, thin shortlived white head and moderate condition. Sweet caramel, toffee, yeast and a hint of banana in the nose, quite dry in the mouth with some yeastiness and a touch of caramel. A little gentle bitterness develops and lingers into the finish that still has some caramel sweetness remaining

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2012 Cask at GBBF 2012. Amber coloured ale. I was quite unmoved by this beer, a slightly malty summer ale with an unnecessarily boozy kick, well enough balanced but just not very exciting. In the average camp for me.
