Bottle. Amber gold with a small head. Aromas are weetabix malts with spices and bitter lemon. Flavours are malty with tea and bitter grapefruit. Simple.

Cask Stillage from the Outside Bar at the Black Horse, Darwen 20/05/2007 Fruity hop aroma. Some carbonation. Golden fruity hoppy and sweet with a crisp and creamy slightly bitter finish.

Dartford Beer Festival. Initially soapy and buttery, but that settled into salty and bitter. A flowery pale ale. Some would like this, but it’s not to my taste. A good mix of quality pale malt and whole leaf hops - burning on the lips, so there’s a fair degree of intensity, yet there’s also some flavour and fragrance. It’s decent enough - but just not my thing. I’m not a fan of lots of bitter hops.
