Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) in May 2012. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale amber in colour with a thin white head. Nice aroma of fresh syrupy lychees. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a zesty fruit base of pink grapefruit and lychees juicy in the mouth. Citrusy hops give a sharp, dry lemon bite to the long aftertaste. Finish is again dry and fruity with tart grapefruit notes present in the mouth. A pleasant enough session Golden Ale for the summer.
