Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 4 Apr 2012. Poured a clear, mid golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of soft fruit, floral hops and brown sugar. Lemongrass in the flavour, with bready malt and straw. Finish was copper, chewy grain and raisins.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - lemon and oranges with malt backbone. Taste - yep, lemon barley water, but a bit sweetened. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long and fairly balanced finish. Overall - a decent scooper.

Widely available locally (Hull) for obvious reasons. If I were sticking to one beer for the full night, this would be it. Lovely...

Bottle. Fizzy yellow gold body. Medium white head with good retention. Lemon, grass, dough, hop, lager. Bittersweet and tangy. Dry finish. A bit reminiscent of homebrew.

wimpyjoe (4424) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2014
Bottle. Yellow-blonde in colour, next to no head. Has a pale ale character but a less than medium body that makes the already light hoppy fruitiness evident in its aroma even less so in taste.

Pale coloured bitter, taste is fairly typical of a Northern bitter, has a strange taste of gin to it too, not my kind of thing really
