Bottle. Golden with a dense persistent white head. Aromas are hoppy and fresh with grapefruit and green apple. Flavours are biscuit malts with sweet lemon and floral notes. Hoppy on the finish with addictive peppery notes. A very good session beer.

Cask @ Piglet BF. Golden with a white film of head. Grassy hops, malt and apple in the nose. Soapy hops with a lingernig malt finish underneath. Not bad.

cask @ 2007 Oxford Beer Festival. Light gold in colour. Aromas of apple blossoms, hay, mild citrus, and light pale malt. Medium bodied. The hay element comes through a bit more in the mouth, with the citrus, red berry fruit, and light malt fleshing things out. Well balanced.

Gravity, Oxford CAMRA beer festival. Gold, fine white head. Butter and marmalade aroma. Leans towards sort of a sticky bell-toned berry character. Cream, citrus and marmalade flavor. Nice bright bitterness, but sort of an odd beer.

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’07. Gold with slight white head. Refreshing and light hoppy session bitter, good full flavour for a low ABV beer, tangy and fresh, some grapefruit with a slight oilynes on the finish. I liked it.
