Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’07. Gold with slight white head. Refreshing and light hoppy session bitter, good full flavour for a low ABV beer, tangy and fresh, some grapefruit with a slight oilynes on the finish. I liked it.

Bottle. Golden with a dense persistent white head. Aromas are hoppy and fresh with grapefruit and green apple. Flavours are biscuit malts with sweet lemon and floral notes. Hoppy on the finish with addictive peppery notes. A very good session beer.

500ml bottle picked up at The Sourced Market, St Pancras station. Straw-golden body, thin, patchy surface. Mild floral aroma. Taste of herbal hops followed by a careful dry bitter finish. Very average (shared with friends at a hotel room in London, 20.03.2011).

Cask (Gravity) at Charlbury Beer festival 04-07-09 Pours gold with a touch of haze like many that have been served today its also a tiny bit warm. Honey on the nose, fruit and honey in mouth, citrus starting to show drying at end. Its fine. A6 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask, Coventry 09. Nose of The Day has passion fruit, grapefruit and pineapple; all manner of citrus loveliness with a background rub of leaf. Bright and brassy with a very un-festival-like sparkle. Dense white head and lacework aplenty. Ripe zesty sessions tanging with passionfruit and grapefruit. Pure hop medicine, Oakham-lovely and aromatic.
