COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Christmas. Also available bottled.
A dark amber winter ale, to warm the festive cockles. A lightly bittered ale, is helped by the richness of crystal malt and the bittering qualities of Northern Brewer and Pilgrim hops.

Cask Handpump at the Albion, Warrington 30/12/2009 Fruit and some hop aroma. Amber coloured fruity and a little sweet on the palate with a hint of dryness in a crisp malt finish.

50 cl bottle, The Dram Shop, Sheffield, UK. Medium nut brown colour, no head. Bright slightly hopped malt aroma, prune with a hint of bitterness then a warming bitter finish.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Fruity aroma - mandarin perhaps. Malt develops eventually. Clean undemanding malty taste with a hint of pear drops. Slight bitterness. Very acceptable, even pleasant.

Cask at the Market Porter. A very smoothe and drinkable beer. Malty body, hoppy freshness in the finish.You could drink a fair number of pints of this.
