Tap with a mountain of nachos. One of the hoppiest beers of the regular line up. More IBUs than the IPA. A nice take on a malty ESB and very good hop profile.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 achtungpv (182) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 18, 2010
Had this from a growler direct from the brewery. Nice bitter with some mild hops that have a bit of depth of flavor.

Pours a nice hazy golden orange color. Aromas of nice citrus/grapefruit hops. Flavor starts malty and the hops kick in, nice crisp bitter finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2010
Bottle:   Dark amber, cloudy and dirty, large rocky light beige head, fairly nice lacing.   Malty nose, minor hop notes, a touch of earth and graininess.   Decent amount of maltiness on the tongue, even a nice hop
bite to accompany it.   There remains a faint earthy note.   Pretty smooth, fairly clean.   Backend reveals further bitter graininess, albeit soft, with sweet malts and a touch of hops.   Moderate to full body and
mouthfeel.   This one was better than I expected.   Almost seems like more of an Ale than a Lager tho.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Savvy1982 (1705) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 29, 2009
Draft, at the brewery. Pours a nice toffee-red, with an off-white head. Nice biscuit, fudge, crystal malt. Surprisingly & very pleasantly hoppy. Nice balance of sweet and bitter. A nice fruitiness throughout. Dry, spicy finish. Highly recommended.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DuffMan (5196) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 22, 2008
I tried this initially at the brewery taproom, and again bottled. Hazy orange amber, big leafy hop aroma. Sweet caramel malt, subtle leafy/earthy hops (more aroma than flavour), moderately bitter finish, a tad on the thin side.
