Jul 18, 2007 On draught at the brewpub tasting room only in Whitefish, Montana. Pours a clear reddish amber brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind an excellent sticky lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, light flowery hops with hidden scents of peat, toffee and a touch of dark pitted fruits. Taste is full bodied, light syrupy, smooth and creamy with a sweet caramel malt flavor. Finish is smooth with a bread doughy flavor aftertaste. Pretty decent for an at brewery availability beer.
