3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Big thanks to Slkwily again for this one. I’m one that always appreciates a light fruitiness in a wheat, and this was nice. Cloudy gold with a head that dissapated rapidly. Aroma was my only complaint; something "off" I couldn’t identify. Anyway, flavor was nice with a bit of tartness to the end.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy straw color with a modest (soft peak egg white) head. Fruity aromas dominate - I assume huckleberries (not being learned in huckleberries). I detect the aromas of blackberries with only a hint of wheat. OK... huckleberry flavors (again, tastes like blackberries). Nice light undertones of malt and a mild clearing acidity. Actually rather pleasant fruit brew. Light mild fruit linger.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale yellow out of the bottle with a thin, fizzy white head. Sweet berry nose with a little soda pop sensation to it. Light berry fruit flavors. I don’t know what huckleberries taste like, but this was like blueberries and raspberries with a light dusting of white sugar. Finish is a little more tart. Not a bad version of a fruit beer. Thanks to slikwily for the bottle.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Kind of a disconcerting berry smell to start out with and I was kind of disappointed to find that the scent carried through into the flavor. Kind of like their wheatfish with a hint of berriness.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to slikwily for this one! Caramel, blueberries, and honey in the aroma, very nice aroma. Thin white head, that fades, but is decent. Nice deep gold body. A good brew.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Funny story about a bear and the last time I went out to pick huckleberries to make jam...yadda, yadda, yadda...and that's why we call my dog "Grizzly Biscuit". (bottle, 01/03) Anyway, I'm sick of huckleberries and I get a gift of this stuff. It's been in the fridge for a couple months now. Looks quite pale, but bright and somewhat (surprisingly) opaque. Not a huge blast of huckleberry on the nose, but it's there. Taste is generally crisp, light, and with a grassy sweetness. Finish is tart, presumably from the huckleberry extract. Not bad stuff, but I'm still sick of huckleberries. Bonus points for it being a much more drinkable example of a style I don't really like.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle, courtesy of Slikwily & Rastacouere. At first I thought, "Wild Huckleberry" what the hell? But... looks like a Wit, bright orange and hazy. Nose very fresh, strong berry presence but also vanilla and citrus. Flavor fruity, acidic, fairly full bodied for a lager, nice tart finish. I'm not blown away, but it was certainly a nice surprise (thanks again guys!) and an above average fruit beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Opaque apricot colour with no head. Fruity aroma (duh). Sweet then a bit sour then dry. The berry flavour is mostly in the finish. It is a bit thicker tan I expected. The best fruit beer I've had. Thanks go to Slikwily.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This has all it's component elements perfectly interwoven - it's a lager and a wheat (wonderful sharpness, wheaty crisp lemony sourness) with great fruitiness (I also don't know much about huckleberries) - this is a great concoction and tied for my No. 1 fruit beer! Wonderfully hazy yellowish brown in the glass. Super drinkable. Thanks, Slikwily.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hazy golden color,Small head that faded fast.Mild malt aroma with a big emphasis on the fruit,if this is what a huckleberry smells like i think i will enjoy it then it smells pretty decent and sweet with a mild sour tone to it as well.Sweet taste at first then tart that later faded back to sweet.Pretty decent with a slight wheat tone and just a mild hop taste at the very end.The after taste is sweet but not overly so with a decent fruit as well. This is definately a different brew very nice as far as the flavor goes and well done IMO,if you can get this brew you should do it it won't let you down.
