4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Slick (1971) - Thief River Falls, USA - JUL 20, 2003
Hazy golden color,Small head that faded fast.Mild malt aroma with a big emphasis on the fruit,if this is what a huckleberry smells like i think i will enjoy it then it smells pretty decent and sweet with a mild sour tone to it as well.Sweet taste at first then tart that later faded back to sweet.Pretty decent with a slight wheat tone and just a mild hop taste at the very end.The after taste is sweet but not overly so with a decent fruit as well. This is definately a different brew very nice as far as the flavor goes and well done IMO,if you can get this brew you should do it it won't let you down.

Bottle: Dusty gold pour with a thin creamy white head. Bubbly. Aroma is wheat, floral, and light huckleberry. Flavor is mild lager malt, huckleberry, and finished with wheat. Crisp. Really a pretty clean taste. More wheat than fruit.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ibrew2or3 (4985) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - FEB 2, 2012
Poured up on tap at MacKenzie River Pizza with clear pale gold body that is nearly watery clear and supporting a thin white head. The aroma has some berry fruitiness mixing with maybe a faint grainy maltiness or a Pilsener like malt note. The taste is the same but it has a bit of a sugary saccharin sensation behind the bubbly sweet sugary berry notes. Off in the background from time to time a faint maltiness can be detected. It is a bit tough to finish a pint of this.

Bottle at the Stone of Accord. Pours a slightly hazy bright gold. Loose white head. Big fruity slightly acidic berry nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty nutty mid palate. Mostly a bunch of tart and tangy huckleberry syrup notes--appealing, and tastes fairly natural.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 jdskinns (102) - South Roxana, Illinois, USA - OCT 10, 2010
Bottle. Pours a pale, clear yellow color with a lively, fizzy white head that goes away completely pretty quickly. Aroma is fruit, corn, and skunky. Taste is huckleberry and a below average lager. I do like how the huckleberry comes through, but that’s not really saying I like this beer. Decent carbonation and a thin, oily mouthfeel.

Sampled at GABF. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Tastes the same with some hops bitterness. Found sweet tastes also. Nice fruit beer.

Plenty of berries with some corn in the nose. Clear blonde body is topped by a low white head that recedes to ring. Mild sweet and somewhat soapy floral and berry flavours. Light body with strong carbonation. Chalice. Fridge temperature. Bottle sampled at presario’s Als vs. Stamps tasting.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15964) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 23, 2010
Bottled, from Columbia Falls, MT. Lightly hazy ple golden. Tinny blueberry aroma. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Huckleberry takes over, and the finish is all huckleberry jam, no bitterness. Out of balance.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 mbgrayson (374) - Anaconda, Montana, USA - JUL 14, 2010
Pours a cloudy gold. Subtle taste and aroma of huckleberries. I like this better than many fruit beers. A solid wheat beer, with huckleberries.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dekester1 (211) - Neenah, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 5, 2010
Poured a hazy gold with a nice tight head that remained throughout. Aroma showed malt with a hint of berry fruit. The taste began with a fruity berry opening, moved to malt, and finished off with mild hops. Mouthfeel was nice and smooth. Overall, a nice, smooth fruity wheat beer. Too bad I can not get any more in WI.
