2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled, from Columbia Falls, MT. Lightly hazy ple golden. Tinny blueberry aroma. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Huckleberry takes over, and the finish is all huckleberry jam, no bitterness. Out of balance.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle shared with Sledutah. Clear yellow color. Aroma of berries and straw. Taste has sweet berries up front, bitter lager background. Not really a good combination.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden hazy with a quickly dissipating head. Smells like what I guess huckleberries smell like, light. Mild wheat flavor, definitely fruity (presumably huckleberries), but there’s some bitterness to prevent the sweetness from overwhelming.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured up on tap at MacKenzie River Pizza with clear pale gold body that is nearly watery clear and supporting a thin white head. The aroma has some berry fruitiness mixing with maybe a faint grainy maltiness or a Pilsener like malt note. The taste is the same but it has a bit of a sugary saccharin sensation behind the bubbly sweet sugary berry notes. Off in the background from time to time a faint maltiness can be detected. It is a bit tough to finish a pint of this.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slightly hazy pale straw yellow. Faint berry essence, a little vanilla, grainy pale malt, crisp finish. A nicely balanced fruit beer that doesn’t kill itself with artificial traits.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at the Stone of Accord. Pours a slightly hazy bright gold. Loose white head. Big fruity slightly acidic berry nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty nutty mid palate. Mostly a bunch of tart and tangy huckleberry syrup notes--appealing, and tastes fairly natural.

2.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draft 6 oz’er at the taproom. Light golden with zero head. Wow, this presents a real big berry aroma. The flavors go more to the blackberry candy realm, so much so that this reminds me of Crunchberries. Decent for the fruit lovers. (#2865, 5/12/2007)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clouded gold body with a small white head. Nose is wheaty and fruity. Some mild tartness to this. Taste is more fruit than wheat with some light sweet notes intermingled with the huckleberry tartness. It’s mild and even a dbit refreshing. Medium bodied. Finishes with Tart fruit notes, light wheat and mild sweetness. Not too bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at the brewpub in Whitefish, Montana. Pours a light semi-hazed golden pale brew with a thin white head that quicjly dissipates to a fine film and good lacing. Aroma of sweet huckleberries, light flour bread malt and soft flowery hops. The berry scent is the strongest of all others. Taste is lightly carbonated, light bodied, with a good balance of malt and berry flavors. Finish is light, smooth with a lingering berry aftertaste.

I love Huckleberries. So for me to give anything a low score with Huckleberries this beer must have missed the boat. The aroma was great but then this beer missed the huckleberry boat. There are much better huckleberry beers out there. Need to go to Idaho for these.
