COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
The name is part acronym (GOB - Great Oakley Brewery) and is dedicated to the brewery’s battery-operated farm "turkey" that sings "Gobble, gobble, gobble"! Gobble is straw coloured with a pleasant hop aftertaste. Siba Midlands beer of the year 2011.

Cask at GBBF, August 2006. Pale amber colour. Herbal hop aroma with a hint of resin and a suggestion of biscuity malt. Pronounced grassy, hoppy flavour. Citric bite on the finish. A juicy, well-executed beer.

Cask, gravity dispense at Woodford Beer Festival at The Duke, Woodford, Northants, 25-05-07. Warm golden in colour with a nice lingering bitterness at the end, touch sweet maybe but very drinkable.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a nice fruityness, as well as light floral hoppy notes, leading to a dry and slightly bitter end.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Copper, thin off white head. Good hoppy aroma. I like this. Good hops on end. Lemony/grapefruit. This was an excellent bitter.

Cask, Leicester Fest 06. Golden with a small head. Aromas are sweet caramel with peach and citrus. Fresh hoppy and spicy with pine needles. Flavours are dry with caramel malts on the base. Sweet and prickly pine needle with lemon. Lightly bitter on the finish. Pretty good.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2011 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Tavern Northampton. A golden coloured biiter with a lovely hoppy aroma of lemons and grapfruit. The taste is also full of nice juicy fruity hoppy flavours. Nicely bitter and very tasty. Another top beer from GOB.Score 3.8
