Cask, gravity dispense at Woodford Beer Festival at The Duke, Woodford, Northants, 25-05-07. Warm golden in colour with a nice lingering bitterness at the end, touch sweet maybe but very drinkable.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours slightly hazy with a moderate, white head. Big punch of hops in the aroma, mostly pine. Beautiful flavor, honey and caramel sweetness, pine, strawberry, melon and grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky finish, resinous hops, more honey, pine and various fruits. Great, great beer.

Golden beer with a weak head. The aroma is very swer and fruity caramel hopped, and the flavour is nicely sweet, caramel, and fruity. Overall a great beer.

Very nice beer, I thought it was going to be dissapointing but wasn’t. Had it at a festival among several more beers.

Fruity and slightly wheaty aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with some citrus flavour and dryness in a floral and bitter malt finish.

Cask handpull, The Malt Shovel, Northampton. Reddish amber with a white lacing slick. Milder, greener tropical hop in the aroma (than Wots Occurring); jellied pineapple and mango hints. Gentle soapy loveliness humming silkily with mango and passion fruit. Shampoo and HB linger. Good.

Cask conditioned at The Falkland Arms, Great Tew, Oxon. Orange gold with slight white head. The flavour is bittersweet, but with plenty of hop character to give a decent flowery flavour. A really pleasant beer, very much enjoyed.

Handpulled cask at the Malt Shovel, Northampton. Gold with a white head. Quite sweet and malty at first but good citric balancing hop bitterness develops and combines to create a very enjoyable best bitter.

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, moderate to light heavy hoppy, flowers, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (080808)
