Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A black beer with a tan coloured head. NIce roasty aroma with burnt malts and coffee. Also a hint of lactose. The taste has the same qqualities in abundance together with some fruit. The roast is stronger though. Very nice as expected.

Cask Stillage at the Fat Cat, Sheffield 16/12/2006 Fruity and rich aroma. Dark coloured rich on the palate and fruity with a little dryness in a bitter and creamy full roast finish.
