Bottle kindly picked up for me by Gaz, a friend who lives up in north Wales. Dark amber coloured beer with small white head. Another decent malty and hoppy effort from Great Orme but again the aroma was less noticeable, pleasant sweet and soft malty flavours witha hint of fudge coming through with each glug, bitterness was there but came through at the end. According to the blurb on the bottle, described as ’being like the IPA’s of old’ I didn’t quite get that as I didn’t think it was bitter enough, but still it was a nice beer and drank much easier than the 5% abv.
