Beer for the hop lover. Nice bitterness and a good long aftertaste with a smack of grapefruit.

On tap at the brewery. Dark gold and clear with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange peel, lemon zest and toasetd malts. Similar flavor, crisp, smooth and easy to drink.

Pretty boring IPA. Nothing interesting to say, average everything. Like how it comes in a can. WOuldn’t buy myself, was a gift from my brother. Not dissatisfied, just way better options out there than this offering.

Can thanks to john’s grocery’s gift wrap department. Nose is piney with some light grassiness to it. Initial flavor us sweet, kind if crackery and then falls off to a watery bitter concoction. Finished pretty dry and lifeless.

Pour is a hazy copper with a average white head. Aroma is a nice clean citrus fruit. Flavor is decently hopped with some chalky malts in the back round. Finish is a little bitter with a little plastic taste in the backround. Meh, kinda a no frills average all around pale ale.

Can - small foamy head, light copper color, earthy hop aroma and flavor, not much malt backbone, fair pale ale but something missing to make better ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma pleasant, mild apricot. Clear golden thick head. Bleh flavor. Sour bitter no good things. Also, the packaging is horrible. Gotta take the outside layer off to remove the obstruction to the mouth, and then there’s a dented silver plain can. Uh what.

Amber with a very large slowly degrading tawny fastigium. Yeah, getting burnt out on calling something a tan head and the thesaurus is my friend. Aroma is Sweet and grainy with caramel and floral notes. Taste is pretty much the same with grains, floral hops, caramel and a dry and mild bitter finish.

Tasty pale ale that pour to a redish tint. Good flavor with a burst of a citrus maybe grapefruit?

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2014 16oz can. Unfiltered dulled orange-tan. Massive foamy off-white head. Has a touch more hops than your typical US brewpub example, some nice piny, grapefruit resin. Medium to full bodied, a little hefty for the lowish ABV. A little antiquated in terms of body and flavor, this can’t hang with the citra beers of new. Pretty mundane, average at best, certainly not worth a premium price. Tolerable, kind of has that grassy English IPA feel. Better straight from the can.
