Growler courtesy of pepsican, thanks. Pours a clear ruby brown amber with a medium to large beige head. Light hops and malt, with a bit of toast on the nose. Rather thin body, with a good amount of sweetness. Big bitter finish with nice grapefruit notes, though a little bit of just general bitterness as well. Decent easy drinking pale ale. Thanks Andy.

Can-purchased at John’s Grocery June 1 2012-pours lite copper hue with a small soapy eggshell head-nose is lots of metalic hops, slight sweet malt tones and some harsh esb-like resin. quite a bit of oxidization as well, which is not good however, with the flavors here, this could have potential when fresh. flavors are sweet cookee malt, slight earth, pine, metallic hops and lots of oxidization. too bad, this could have been pretty good. nice malt profile here and lots of bitter hops.

Can, as pictured. Pours a relatively-clear amber brown with lots of nice little islands, actually an impressive pour. Smell is of straw, light nutty scent. Basic taste, nice malt backbone, not a ton of hop flavor. Not too bad, a solid pale ale.

Pint can purchased at US Liquor and Wine in Minnetonka, Minnesota . The pour is a golden copper with a foamy 2 inch off white head. The aroma is toasted malt, a touch of earth, and a bit of spice hop. The taste is some spice bitterness, then turns to the toasted malt. A bit of a motor oil dirtiness initially, though that cleared a bit. The palate is medium bodied, lowish carbonation, malt sweet and bitter finish. Just ok.

Can from Ed, thanks! Pour is a fairly clear light amber, with not a ton of head, and no lacing to speak of. Aroma is light citrus hops, a bit of caramel malt, and lots of graininess. Taste is lots of grain, some light pine. Astringent grain finish. Not a bad beer, but the grain gets to me

Aroma: some grapefruit, toasty malts, slightly metallic. Pours a clear golden/light amber color, one finger of white head, good retention and decent lacing. Flavor is fruity hops, grapefruit, nice toasty malt backbone, I get a fairly strong metallic note in the finish that lingers for a while. Medium body and carbonation.

Pours yellow golden with minimal head. Smell: Grapefruit, caramel malts, grass and citrus. Taste: Malty, grapefruit, a touch of pine kind of mild upfront then in the finish is where this one kicks in with a long pine bitterness.

Taster at Great River. The board says it’s made with centennial and dry-hopped with Cascade. A brassy golden color, which might show darker in a bigger glass. A persistent small ring of foam. Light malty beer smell, but from the first sip, all the dry hopping hit my taste buds with pine resin and grapefruit pulp. Some Kiwi fruit at the back of this big, hoppy blast.
