On tap at Davenport brewpub. Rather clear garnet color with a medium-sized off-white head. Soured wood nose - first whiffs made me wonder if this was a sour beer by style - with some white oak and subdued whiskey notes. Mildly sweet, lightly alcoholic flavor.

On tap at brewpub, pours a hazy burnt orange/amber with a decent head and lacing through out the glass, the whiskey really comes through in the aroma, actually smelled pretty darn good, the flavor was still pretty meh, basically a boring amber ale with a kick of whiskey in the finish, some wood notes do come through, just nothing special.
