3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. can pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head that lasts a while before leaving some lacing. Aroma is all chocolate and hazelnut. Taste is sweet and chocolatey with a touch of bready malts in the middle and a slightly dry finish. Body is medium with average carbonation. Iíd call this a white stout if it were a little thicker. This one is a fairly simple novelty, and not something Iíd try regularly.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This stuff is kind of cute but I am not sure it holds up as more than a novelty. Itís orange and hazy, mostly headless. It smells and tastes mildly of chocolate w/o much else aside from a hint of bready malt. Itís got a fairly full body w/o being terribly sweet but does feel a bit heavy despite prickly carbonation. I could probably drink more than one of these but I canít imagine why I would.

With a sampler I thought this was a good beer from the brewery. ON draft maybe so. But I bought a six pack . Aroma is light chocolate and watery. Flavor is watery and chocolate also. Mouthfeel is okay actually. I would look for another version of a white stout. But this isnít horrible. Look for the white buffalo.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Hazy, golden pour, not much of a head to speak of. Nose is chocolate chip cookie dough. Mouth is thin, mildly sweet, cookie dough and cocoa butter. Not great, but not terrible either. Probably would pair well with... um... cookies.

Surprised I didnít have this when I visited there, but hereís a single can from Binnyís. Hazy gold pour under a fizzy head. Just a light malt smell with a note of cocoa. Iím liking the subtle Nestleís Quik taste sitting side-by-side with a dry malt base. Enjoying this while watching "Dracula," where BelŠ is also sucking on dirty blondes.

On tap at the Beer House Chicago in Lombard, IL. as a 5 oz. serving dispensed to a flight/fest glass, displaying a clear, golden color, with a frothy layer of soft white head foam, and good cling to the wavy ribbons of lacing. The nose was chocolate syrup, with candy sweetness, a bit of perfumey spiciness, and a slight hint of mint. Light+ bodied aided by spritzy carbonation, the taste added a modest, earthy bitterness that dried a bit on the finish. Unusual chocolate notes, but fairly sessionable.
