3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint can. Poured light-medium coppery-amber with a nice cap of beige head. The aroma picked up semi-sweet, toasted bread and nutty (almond) notes with light grass and herbal accents.. simple and clean. The flavor found semi-sweet caramel and bready notes at the core, with peppery and herbal notes around.. finished dry and a touch grainy. Lighter-bodied and a little tacky on the palate.. easy-drinking overall, but not great.

Pour is a clear red with a average white head. Aroma is not much else than some sweet malt. Flavor is a little better but not great. Decent malt but no hops or earthiness like you usually get in this style. Finish is bland and watery. Nothing special here.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ruby red with off white head. Good malty smell and taste. Slight herbal hops in the finish. Medium body and watery finish. Hops build up over time and start to over power the malt.

16oz can pours a hazy amber with some cloudy head. Nose is weird, some carrot, a little mint, some tomato. Flavor is lightly malty, celery salt, tomato skin, carrot peel. Weak finish. Really strange and just plain bad.

thin amber with large bubbled white ring. Odd nose, watermelon rind, bit plastic and red berries, pumpernickel with the faintest rubber cement. Flavor is sweet berries, light sugar and heft supporting. Very spritzy carbonation. As close to a fruit beer as a red ale.

16 oz can. 5.4%. From Iowa. Thanks John M!
Dark amber colour with a small off-white head.
Mild sweet aroma of hops and malt. The flavour is dry nutty malt, grain and mild hoppy bitterness. Quite typical Red Ale. I’m not huge fan of the style but this is drinkable.

Light red pour with slight cloudiness. VERY watery mouth feel. 5.4% alcohol is higher than most average brews, but undetectable here. Little flavor to speak of. Pass!
