Draught @ Albion. Slightly cloudy pale yellow with small white foamy head, yeast aroma, medium carbonation, spicy vanilla like Belgian yeast taste, medium spicy finish. Very refreshing and tasteful.

Great Saison, nice balance of spicy esters and winey (is that a word?) esters. Very dry like a saison should be, would love to see this beer released as a special beer with Brett, mmmmm.

Approximately 2 ounce sample at the Brewery tasting room in Bay Shore, New York. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is nice fresh wheat, yeast phenols show and a bit of citrus fruit. The taste is the nose, grainy wheat, clove yeast phenols, and nicely manages sweetness from the malt. The palate is medium bodied, active carbonation and a nice dry finish. This is my type of Saison. Of the beers I sampled here, I liked this and the Massive IPA the best.

A hazed blonde saison with a thick white head. In aroma, a smooth talcum fruity ester malt with light sulphury notes. In mouth, a smooth sweet banana malt, cloves, wit-like, smooth. On tap at TAP NY, April 28, 2012.

Tasted at NYC Craft Beer Festival. Aroma is yeast and citrus. Thin palate, slightly watery, yeasty, with a nice tart and dry finish with more fruity esters. Not very complex, but it would be an OK summer quaffer.
