This whale of a brew begins with a huge grain bill, consisting of American two-row malted barley. Plenty of the finest American-grown hops are then introduced at every stage of the brewing process. Massive additions of hops in the boil kettle produce a smooth yet assertive finish.

Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a clear dirty blonde with a moderate amount of white head with mild lacing. Aroma was mildly citrus and more malt. Aroma is deceiving because taste is right on point, citrus, hops, IBU goodness. Long Island craft beer all the way! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Earthy and piney hop nose, caramel, decent. The appearance is a clear straw yellow, slight orange tinge, white head. The flavor is again pine, earth, caramel. Medium in body. Piney, resiny hop bittering at the finish. Pretty standard stuff, but decent

Crisp amber and copper tinted body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall just off-white head with a little bit of a bronze glow. Aroma of grassy and cardboardie hops with a hint of malt, pine and caramel - not too pungent. Medium-bodied; Assertive herbal and earthy malt and hops with some light bitterness, a lot of floral flavours and a bit of herbs as well. Aftertaste shows some light depth and assertiveness, this one is mostly mild and lacking conviction. Overall, not such a great beer and showing hardly any hops at all. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Good Beer in New York, New York on 19-July-2014 for US$2,39 sampled at home in Washington just a week later on 26-July-2014.
