This whale of a brew begins with a huge grain bill, consisting of American two-row malted barley. Plenty of the finest American-grown hops are then introduced at every stage of the brewing process. Massive additions of hops in the boil kettle produce a smooth yet assertive finish.

On tap. Just an average IPA for me. Mostly piney hop profile with significant caramel malt backbone.

Bottle at home. Clear copper pour. Aroma is of sweet dough and sugar with piney hops. Nicely balanced, sweet malt profile. Bitter orange finish. Not bad.

Crisp amber and copper tinted body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall just off-white head with a little bit of a bronze glow. Aroma of grassy and cardboardie hops with a hint of malt, pine and caramel - not too pungent. Medium-bodied; Assertive herbal and earthy malt and hops with some light bitterness, a lot of floral flavours and a bit of herbs as well. Aftertaste shows some light depth and assertiveness, this one is mostly mild and lacking conviction. Overall, not such a great beer and showing hardly any hops at all. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Good Beer in New York, New York on 19-July-2014 for US$2,39 sampled at home in Washington just a week later on 26-July-2014.

A golden IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, good biscuit malt with floral hops, citrus pulp, nice. In mouth, a nice fruity biscuit malt with British floral hops, citrus pulp, nice. Bottle at Bacon and beer Classic.

Bottle Pour. Clean reddish orange with white head in glass. Aroma is lead by pine resin and orange. Medium body. Orange carries on from nose, taking on a semi-sweet, borderline cream like taste. More pine and suggestions of grapefruit. Caramel malts in the background. Nice, but could use some smoothing.

Bottle, thanks bill! Pours crystal clear orange amber, medium off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is corn, pine, caramel, faint citrus. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, lingering. Not harsh, but a faint bit metallic. Medium body.

Meh. Medium to light body. I want so much to support my local brewery but I’m just not crazy about it. Malty and bitter but not in a way that’s pleasing to me. Lacks flavor. Drinkable but not a go-to for me.

12oz bottle shared by JohnGonk. Pours a clear golden color with a finger of frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet citrus fruit, caramel malt, green onions, and pine. Taste of bitter citrus skins, green onions, grass, pine, and caramel malt.
