Pouring at TAP NY. Pours a clear gold with a thin beige head. Crisp malt, citrus and toast. Soft earth, toast and grapefruit pith. Earthy, malt and light toast. Long pithy grapefruit notes on the finish. Nice and balanced.

Great pale ale for being on the beach and I think that’s what GSB was going for. Good hop presence for a pale ale but also a very nice malt base as well. Good clean easy drinking beer.

Approximately 2 ounce sample at the Brewery tasting room in Bay Shore, New York. The pour is mostly clear golden orange, with a smallish off white head. The aroma is grassy, along with some floral hops and citrus fruit. There is a nice fresh toasted malt present as well. The taste is a nice balance between the hops (grass, floral, citrus) along with the toast malt structure. The palate is medium to light bodied, nice dry finish. My kind of Pale Ale, dry and not overly sweet. Nice.

On tap @ RnH. Medium amber-orange pour w webby, stringy lacing. Fruity and wheaty aroma makes way for an underwhelming flavor of some dry citra hops and a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing spectacular but the nose alone is almost enough. Good.

Draft. Pours gold with an off white head. Piney and sweet hoppy aroma with light caramel malty notes. The flavor has light citric and flowery hops, with pale malts, sweet malts, and a solid bitter hoppy finish. Pretty good.

Draft at rattle with Linh. Pours a hazy golden body with light white lacing. Aroma is freshman grapefruit. Mouthfeel is uber smooth and a bit too thin and tasteless. The aroma is head on awesome. I wish it followed through a bit more. Still solid, sessionable American pale.

Aroma is caramel, toasted, flowers, pine. The appearance is amber, white head. The flavor is more toasted malt, caramel, pine. The finish is resiny piney hops. medium in body. Not great, but enjoyable.
