Good beer, subtly hoppy. No heavy after taste, and paired well with Mexican cuisine. Glad to support local brews.

Tap at Stags Head. pours orange with thin head. Tons of citrus on the nose. Taste is dominated by blood orange I would argue perhaps too much blood orange. you also get some pine and caramel. medium to light bodied and you get sting of citrus on palate. too close to orange juice for me.

Draft at shortys on pearl street NYC . Pours a regular pale ale color with no head that wades on the sides . Not as fruity as I'd expect but I like the balance and combo of everything

nice moderate true orange taste with a chalky bitter pith finish and a little tang. kinda beery and kinda not. flavor refreshes but beer is, not really, with the overdone finish.

On tap at Long Island Ale House in Medford, NY, where it was listed as Great South Bay Blood Orange Pale Ale (with no mention of Robert Moses or Taproom Exclusive). Clear, bright amber-yellow with a small off-white head and excellent lacing. Mild aroma of blood orange, malt and a touch if spice. Taste of blood orange, fruity hops and pale malt--all nicely balanced. Medium body and medium/high carbonation with an interesting mouthfeel. A quite decent fruit beer. The orange is obvious, but never intrusive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
