The texture is very creamy and smooth. Excellent. Flavour and aroma not over pronounced. Sweet, milk, coffee. Nice.

Pours deep brown with nice foamy tan head, on cask. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is nice and rich, big notes of roasted and nuts combine with chocolate and coffee to make a nice creamy brew.

Tap. Dark brown / black pour with a foamy brown head. Mild nose of nut, milk chocolate, and lactose. No carbonation (cask). Very smooth and easy drinking. Taste is similar to aroma, not huge flavors, but pleasant.

Pours an opaque chocolate brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma is an earthy peat mixed with oats and vanilla. Flavor is a bit sweeter. Mix of oats, vanilla and malts. Very bland really. Body is creamy but lacking carbonation.

On handpump at the brewpub on 05/31/2009. Very dark black body with a medium frothy tan head. Roast, chocolate and light molassas aroma. Chocolate flavor with roast, molassas and a bit of yeastiness. Medium body with low carbonation.

Cask at the brewpub. Pure black pour with a medium size brownish tan head. Faint aroma of chocolate and coffee. Rich milk chocolate flavor with definite notes of coffee and roasted malt. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
