COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-bodied American Dark Ale uses loads of roasted malts to give off a somewhat plum-like (figgy) aroma and flavor. Look for roasted notes at the end of the taste after the plum notes dissipate. Lightly hopped for balance.

Cask at the brewpub 10/18/12. Thick foam on top of a brown-red beer. Very smooth and thick palate. Grain aroma and lots of sweet malt. Some dried fruit flavor even if no actual fruit.
