Winterfest, 2012. Smokey and dry. Red color. Malt base, and no perceivable hop presence. Smoke in the aroma and flavor.

Pour on tap at Winterfest 2012, dark reddish brown with thin white head, aroma brought notes of smoked malt with a bit of peat, hints of caramel, toffee and sweet roasted sugars with a slight hint of hop in there as well. Taste is a mix of smoky biscuit and caramel, toffee and slight toasted bread, hints of grass and earth finishing fairly bitter. Pretty decent.
