COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The commemorative 500th batch at Great Waters!
Five Hundred beers(D in Roman numerals) have been made in the Great Waters beer kettle. This finicky copper tank has survived the havoc that four different brewers could wreak upon it. I thought flowers would be a nice gesture. Wait just a minute here, flowers are what this brew is all about. You see, the barley is ground into flour (play on words here). After boiling, I add hop flowers for balance. To make this brew truly unique, I added some Minnesota produced wild flower honey. This in turn greatly aids the yeast in the flowering of the yeast buds. We all know that is where we get the alcohol content for this Spring time celebration ale, to celebrate the return of the flowers. So, relax, be Fleurious, and don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers.

Pale orange jello. Smooth medium/thinned cap of dusty white foam. Lots of droopy/gooey lacing glare the glass. Aroma is sweet and semi oily with one big load of Maibock-like maltyness. Sweet, doughy, kinda tangy with a pale pineapple, mango, and orange juice ting under the malt front. Taste is quite nice. Favorable body and girth of sweet malt tanged with a pale, dull citrus of orange, peach skin, pineapple, and some tender little texture of honey-esk oilyness and citrus fluff. Very Maibock-like with a touch of honey and all the malt that one would carry. Feel is one of the better bolder renditions to have dawned the taps at GW. Bold. rich, thick, smooth, malty, tenderly chewy and oily with a nice little finish. A very nice drinker as well. The ABV is hidden but is evident after a bit into it as its heavy loaded malty side definately has a sneaky side to its under belly of drinkability. Good stuff.
